Origami Dolls

A few years back I made a bunch of the adorable origami dolls for a special order and they were also a pretty big hit. I sold them for $2 at the time although now I realize that I was waaaay undercharging. Each doll is made with washi paper, not cheap, and it takes quite a while to make one even when I do them in batches. I made 2 dozen tonight in about 4.5 hours. I have no idea what drove me to do this. But they do make great bookmarks and gifts.

So anyway I guess these will be at the next show. Or perhaps I'll keep them for myself... no idea yet.

Like em? You can make them for yourself! I used the tutorial provided by Kimono Reincarnate with a few minor adjustments. You should check it out. I played around quite a bit with the hairstyles since I used black card stock. It was much easier to make different shapes.
